Today we announced that Energy Capital Partners. Inc. (Owner of SCR-Tech, LLC) and STEAG Energy Services GmbH (Owner of STEAG Energy Services, LLC) have reached an agreement to merge the two companies. The new combined company is called STEAG SCR-Tech, Inc., an Environmental Services Company. The friendly merger of the two companies created a superior environmental services company that is focused on delivering improved value and customer service to our clients.

STEAG SCR-Tech, Inc. will be jointly led by Co-CEOs Thies Hoffmann and Mike Mattes. The combined company will continue to operate at its current locations in North Carolina and China. The board of STEAG SCR-Tech, Inc. will have equal representation from Energy Capital Partners and STEAG Energy Services GmbH.

STEAG SCR-Tech, Inc. is a worldwide leader in SCR catalyst regeneration, on-line and in-situ SCR catalyst cleaning technology and systems and SCR management including catalyst testing. Additional products and services include engineering, design and EPC supply services for SCRs, SNCRs, ammonia systems and LPA screens; SO2, SO3 and mercury control/testing as well as FGD wastewater treatment systems.
